Welcome to my website

Hey there! 👋!

I’m André Jaenisch.

Open for contracting

In 2023 I started a career in freelance after ten years working as employee in the industry. I’m a web developer with a focus on Frontend technologies, but can also write Django (Python) or Express (Node.js) applications.

My focus is on accessibility. I’m interested in security and software architecture because I care. I care for people using my code as well as colleagues and my future self maintaining the programs. Therefore you can expect high quality accompanied by tests and documentation from me.

If you already have a team I’m happy to train them in Frontend technologies. Accessibility is becoming more and more important given that the demography shifts towards a higher age and EU legislation taking effect in 2025.

Sounds interesting? Get in touch with me!

Open for employment

For a limited only I’m open to offers as an employee. I have years of experience in Frontend web development. Having also worked with Node.js and Python backends allows me to talk to Backend developers. I am not interested in other technology stacks here.

When hiring me, you can benefit from my knowledge in accessibility, security and software architecture.

Write me about you!

My values

I have earned a reputation for being to the point. Expect honest feedback from me. I speak my mind. This can hurt sometimes. On the other hand you know where you stand with me.

It’s important to me to stick to my promises. If I commit to something you can be sure I will do whatever it takes to make that happen. Or give you a head’s up if life happens again.

I mentioned interest in security above. My guide is CCC’s hacker ethics but extend it with a ecologic dimension. Climate crisis is real. We better take our part of responsibilities to keep a habitable planet. It’s the only one we have.

In case there arises a conflict, I am going to assume positive intent. You will most likely acted in good faith, so let’s clarify what happened and how we can prevent these situations from occuring again.

If you want to work with me let me know!
